Deep Tissue Massage is a powerful method of working, focusing on the re-training of muscles and the fascia that surrounds them. While a massage is meant to crush the muscles in the core of the body, it is meant to grip and pull the tissues as they slide along. Therefore, it is not a question of repeating, in a stronger way, the same maneuvers as in massaging the body. In this way, we try to avoid the adhesions that exist between the different layers of muscles and fascias, which are the origin of pain and mobility restrictions. It causes increased blood circulation in the muscle tissue, relaxes muscle tension, helps to regain muscle and tendon elasticity and thus produces obvious benefits. This technique uses effleurage, kneading, friction, as well as percussion in targeted areas. This massage is the most common in massage parlors. The method was developed by M Per Henrik Ling.
