1. Introduction
For Salonkee, protecting your privacy is a priority and we want to be worthy of the trust you place in us by using our website Salonkee.lu and our services provided by Salonkee S.A., 38, Rangwee, L-2412 Luxembourg (we/us/our). To this end, we make every effort to protect and secure any personal data you share with us. We act in the interest of our customers and are transparent about the processing of your personal data. This privacy policy, which you can view at any time, explains in a clear and transparent way how we use and process your personal data so that you can easily understand our approach. We also show you how to contact us if you have any questions about your personal data and we are happy to help. This Privacy Policy applies to all types of information we collect through our internet platform or through other means associated with this platform (e.g. contacting our customer service by email). This privacy policy may be amended from time to time. If you would like to know more about your personal information, please visit this page regularly to check for the latest updates.
2. What information do we collect?
Primarily, we store the personal information that customers provide when they enter our website. This includes the information you provide when registering (surname, first name, password, telephone number, email address, gender and date of birth). If you create a Salonkee account via Facebook profile, we collect your Facebook profile picture in addition to the above information (no other information is collected from your Facebook profile). We also store data related to your account and transactions. This is necessary for us to provide our services properly. This data is transmitted to us by our PSD2 partner (a specialised company that ensures that the connection with your bank and the transmission of your transaction data is carried out in accordance with the security standards of the PSD2 regulation). It goes without saying that this collaboration is subject to strict conditions and is highly secure. As part of improving our services, we collect and store your usage data (e.g. IP address, type of medium you used when registering). Occasionally, it is also possible that you provide us with additional information/notes with regard to your care by our partners. We store the information submitted and process it in our database. When you contact us by email or via Intercom (a communication tool found at the bottom right of our website), we store a record of that conversation. This enables us to better assist you in future conversations. All of the above information is not publicly visible or viewable on our website (except for your first name and photo if you post a review on one of our partners' Salonkee page).
